Meet Leslie Helen from Simple Muse
Hi, I am Leslie Helen. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and love the diversity of this city such that I chose to stay and plant roots here. I am in a marriage relationship with Kevin. Ava is our unicorn loving princess with a powerful soccer kick. Sir Benjamin Feather Bottom, (simply known as Benny,) is our adopted Boston/English Bulldog mix fur puppy. As a family we live in a row house just north of Lake Ontario and love going on adventures in and around the neighbourhood.
My interests in life are traveling; outdoor activities like cycling, hiking, and beach days; cooking from scratch; photography; and gardening. My catch phrase for my current season of life is simple freedom.
About Simple Muse
Simple is used to convey that something is straightforward. The older I get, the more I find myself striving for more simplicity in life. As a Mother to a four year old, I have come to realize just how much physical clutter affects my mind and mood negatively.
I strive to find ways to live life that will allow me to experience my interests in the simplest way possible. I want to spend time on things I am passionate about and less time on things I am not. Keeping life simple gives me the freedom to pursue things I am passionate about.
“If you muse on something, you think about it, usually saying or writing what you are thinking at the same time.” Synonyms: ponder, consider, reflect, contemplate. – Collins online dictionary
“To muse is to consider something thoughtfully. As a noun, it means a person — especially a woman — who is a source of artistic inspiration. … Today, a muse is a person who serves as an artist’s inspiration.” – Vocabulary.com
Simple Muse represents my journey towards finding more simplicity in hopes to free up time wasted on the clutter, (physical, mental, and non-value-added things,) with the goals of having more freedom to pursue my interests and passions.
